As soon as you take off, you have a fraction of a second to acquire some momentum and link your flips. You can fit another turn in for enormous points, but it changes your landing angle dramatically. Gravity is the answer to everything you do. You can do everything right and then lose control, and it turns into a horrible wipeout. A clean landing caps off the performance and earns you a high score, while a face-plant gives you an opportunity to reassess your strategy for the following flight.
