Overview

The city has fallen. A deadly virus has turned the inhabitants into bloodthirsty zombies. The government has sealed off all exits, and the army has been ordered to shoot anyone trying to leave.

You are the only survivor, and you must drive your car through all obstacles, from fleeing crowds and burning cars to armed soldiers and hordes of zombies rushing at your windshield. Your only goal is to survive and escape the dead city.

How to Play Road of the Dead

You start in your garage, where you can choose, repair, and upgrade your car before setting off. Initially, the car is quite weak, but as you go further, you will earn experience points and money to upgrade speed, armor, and fuel, or even install weapons for self-defense.

On the road, you will face zombies rushing at your car. Crush them to get points, but don't let too many zombies cling to the car; they can damage it. Police and military personnel will block the road, fire live ammunition, and even drop obstacles. Dodge, ram, or overtake as quickly as possible.

Maintain a steady speed, react quickly, and observe far ahead to anticipate the best way to dodge or ram.

As you go further, you can use points to increase your maximum speed and car durability. Reinforce armor against bullets or zombies. Unlock guns or gloves for melee combat. Upgrade the windshield and tires to withstand collisions better.

You shouldn't always ram; sometimes, dodging is the only way to survive. If you see the military pointing guns, steer to another lane or use damaged cars as shields. When zombies cling to the door, press Space to punch them off. Try to go as far as possible to escape the quarantine zone. Every meter you travel and every zombie you take down contributes to your score and unlocks achievements.
