Imagine a blank white page with no rules. Line Rider, a physics simulation, is also a creative playground of lines and gravity. You are an architect designing the track for Bosh, a little guy on a sled!
Blue: This is the basic physical surface. Bosh will slide on these tracks. Draw smooth curves to keep the ride uninterrupted.
Orange: Instant acceleration strips! Use them to help Bosh overcome potholes or make high jumps.
Green: Decorative lines. Bosh will run through them, helping you create scenes like clouds, trees, or beautiful visual effects.
Sketch: Draw the basic track sections. Pay attention to the landing angle so Bosh doesn't fall over.
Test: Press the Space key to see Bosh move. This is when you see your creation come to life!
Refine: Use Ctrl + Z to undo incorrect strokes and scroll to zoom in, paying attention to even the smallest details.
Left Mouse + Drag: Draw lines.
S Key: Switch between drawing and viewing modes.
Space Key: Run or pause simulation.
Q / W / E: Quickly switch between pen types.
Right Mouse + Drag: Move the frame.
